Register for Up North Battle 2026 in Umeå! Up North offers a weekend full of battles with categories such as freestyle, rookie, breaking and showcase competition. The weekend is packed with battles as well as performances, workshops and afterparty. We welcome everybody in all styles and all levels!

Pre-registration closes at 12.00 Friday 8 May. Last minute registration is possible on the day of the battle. Registration for Showcase Competition closes when we've reached 10 competing crews. Last minute registration is not possible for Showcases.

For Showcase Competition:
You will get time on stage before the competition.
Audience will be on three sides. Stage dimensions 6x6m.
Same light for all showcases.

Do you need a place to stay in Umeå?

We offer free accommodation for competing dancers in shared rooms at Hotel 1861 in Umeå!

Want your own space? Single rooms are available for competing dancers at a special price: 150 SEK per night. You pay directly at the hotel when you check in. To book a single room, email the hotel.

Last date to book accommodation is 12.00 Friday 1 May. Limited spots, first come first serve.
